Colin Lancaster is the Global Co-Head of Discretionary Macro and Fixed Income and Head of EMEA at Schonfeld Strategic Advisors, a globally renowned multi-strategy hedge fund with an investing footprint across five continents. Over a 25-year Wall Street career, he has held senior macro leadership roles at Citadel LLC and Balyasny Asset Management and managed investment operations across the major financial centres of the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

He graduated from Princeton University and is a lawyer by training.

Lancaster is also the author of Fed Up!, a novel set against the 2020 market panic and informed by long experience inside global macro investing. The book follows a hedge fund macro trader through the volatility of the Covid-era selloff and recovery, examining the mechanisms of modern markets, central-bank intervention, and the transmission of monetary policy through liquidity, asset prices, and financial conditions.
